We were appointed as the Main Contractor overseeing the new construction of a prestigious environmentally friendly house and seperate double garage in Tollerton, Nottinghamshire.

Special Features

The building was not serviced by any incoming gas, in order to heat the building an Air Source Heat pump was installed, this provided heating which was transmitted through the property via an underfloor heating system on both the Ground and First floor.

The plot was not serviced by a mains drainage system, instead a BioDisc was installed on the plot which cleansed the incoming drainage and released it back into the lands watercourse.

A rainwater harvesting system was installed within the properties land.

Insulation with high thermal properties was specified throughout the building ensuring that the buildings heating requirements were reduced.

The building was designed to optimise natural lighting to the property, including the installation of a glazed roof to the kitchen area. Low energy lighting was also installed throughout the property.

A hardwood staircase was installed within the house.

High specification of sanitaryware installed within the two wet rooms.

Profiled aluminium bi-fold doors were installed to the rear of the house.

The exterior of the property consisted of a cedar cladding system and timber glazed gables.
